Found in approx 12m of water under 'Golden Cap' in Lyme Bay Dorset, during a club 'training' dive in the summer of 1999.
Item declared to Receiver of Wreck on 11th April 2000, as droit 340/00.

Conclusions

March 2001 - Have been in contact with Mike Markey of Poole Bay Archaeological Group who has expressed interest in this item.

May 2001 - Mike has now looked at this anchor and has asked that we investigate the materials it is made of. As a result, the anchor is currently with the University of Reading being analysed.
